Children are constantly outgrowing their clothes and their shoes. Running shoes and clothes are expensive for parents to constantly replace. Every child loves a new pair of runners! We initiated this project to help the neediest in our community and work together to help out.

2024 Program Summary: National Council of Jewish Women of Canada, Toronto supported Jewish Family and Child Service and Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto to help set more kids up for summer.
We created the KIDS SUMMER ESSENTIALS FUND. Funds raised were allocated to each child to help get them summer ready with essentials like running shoes, clothing or other necessities.
In the spring of 2022, NCJWC, Toronto launched a new campaign that aligned with our mission to serve our community and care for the needs of the most vulnerable.
Funds raised provided a new pair of running shoes to every child being subsidized to attend summer camp through Jewish Family and Child Service.
