Sheila's Kids Summer Essentials Fund -med

We are proud to announce that this year with your donations to the Sheila’s Kids Summer Essentials Fund, we are providing $100 gift cards to 230 children in need to buy something new that they need for summer. These funds help alleviate financial stress on families and enable the children the joy of selecting something new for the summer months.

The beneficiaries this year are:

Jewish Family and Child Service
Toronto Catholic Children’s Aid Society
North York Women’s Shelter
Kayla’s Children’s Centre

Established in 2022 as The Kids Summer Essentials Fund, this project was renamed in memory of Sheila Neuburger (zl) our President who passed away in June 2025 during her second term. Sheila loved children and was instrumental in the creation of this project.

How You Can Help

Children are constantly outgrowing their clothes and their shoes. Running shoes and clothes are expensive for parents to constantly replace. Every child loves a new pair of runners! We initiated this project to help the neediest in our community and work together to help out.

Our Impact

Since our beginnings in 2022, we have raised over $80,000 and have distributed over 1200 gift cards to Jewish Family and Child Services and Catholic Children’s Aid Society.
